Pulse by: Gail McHugh

“Pulse” gets 5 Gazillion Stars **********. This book was by far the best sequel to any book I have yet to read and yest that does include 50 Shades of Grey. The love story between Gavin and Emily is one that every girl walking on earth dream about and only few actually get to live it. Gavin didn’t just love emily, he lived her. The amount of passion, lust and love all whipped into one feeling is how I can describe Gavin’s feelings for Emily. Gail McHugh did an extraordinary job in making sure that every single page in this book was written to make the reader live this amazing love story. There are many books that would make the list of my favorite books, but this love story goes beyond being a favorite book. With this book I laughed, cried, became angry and then regained all compsure. This book is definitely an emotional journey to put it lightly. “Pulse” makes  you look at life with a whole new meaning.

Collide by: Gail McHugh

If there were 10 stars to give this book I would. This amazing love story was right up there with the novel A Heart of Stone by K.M. Scott. Emily and Gavin were unbelieveably amazing. I was truly transported to their life and really did live vicariously through them. Emily being a girl who was in my opinion blinded by a mans kindness and confused it with love because his generoustity came a point in her life where should felt nothing could get any worse. Meeting Gavin was a total unexpected chance life through her way. I’m truly inlove with this story. Gail McHugh did an amazing job writing this novel. I will definitely be reading more of her work.

Make you see stars by; Jocelyn Han

Extraterrestrial scenery of icy world orbiting giant planet with rings

I loved this book. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I would have liked to see the story be more about Alen and Tori instead of what was going on with LaFleur and those people. I loved that she was from the Ellite and although he wasn’t and had a bad past he surpassed it and won Tori’s mom’s heart. It was a really nice love story. There were times that I wanted to smack Alen and shake Tori but I guess that’s why I liked the book because I was able connect with the characters. I love when the happens to me when I’m reading. Good work Jocelyn.

Fly you to the moon by: Jocelyn Han

fly you to the moon

I was a little torn between giving these book 3 or 4 stars. I really wanted to give it 4 stars but the fact that Nicholas was her uncle was somewhat a little bit weird for me. Maybe if he would have been a distant cousin or something it wouldn’t seem so incesty. The story however, was a beautiful one. I enjoyed reading how their love story developed and how they came about being together. Ava and Nicholas had a dreamy relationship. I would definitely read more of Jocelyn’s work. The story kept me interested and I wanted to see what going to happen to Ava and Nicholas.

Hell without You by: Ranae Rose

hell without youThis was the first book I read By Ranae Rose and I absolutely fell in love with it. Donovan and Clementine sacaraficed a part of their lives for each other. Call fate that reunites them, they spend some time fighting what they both feel for each other untill one day they no longer can. As the universe would have it they once again face another obstacle, only this time Clementime doesn’t give up on Donovan and has no limits as to what she does to make sure Dononvan isn’t punished once again for something he didn’t do. I am in love with these two. I loved all the drama that was involved in this story. Not to mention the amount of lust that goes on between them which leads to the obviously love they feel for one another. This is one of those books I would read again and again. Will definitely be reading more of Ranae Rose’s work.

Deadly Beginings by: Jaycee Clark

ImageJock and Katie are the cutest couple. Their love story is amazing. Jock has no limits as to what he will do to protect Katie. I mean what woman doesn’t dream of having such a man. I love how the Jaycee goes into how their lives turned out in the end. I truly loved the epilogue of this book. I hated Landon and loved when Jock basically ordered him dead. I loved it. Katie although in the begining of the book seemed a little spinless, totally did a 360 and in her own way stood up for what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go for it once she met Jock. Great story Jaycee, I loved the story line and the writing.

Billionaire by: Juliette Jones

OMG!!!! The beginning of this book was a sexathon. Literally. The amount of sex that goes in the first chapters of this book is probably more than more people get in a lifetime. From the moment that Lila walked into Alexander’s office the sexual attraction and tension between them two was uncanny. I must say that for a virgin she was quiet skillful. I honestly loved the story between them two, even if there was little conflict in it. If you can get past all the crazy insane amounts of sex that they have, it actually is a great book. I really wanted to give this book 5 stars, but the unnecessary scenes of Alexander doing Lila in front of his poker buddies was uncalled for. And then the lesbian scene in Paris, again uncalled for. I mean he is possessive and the idea of someone else touching her makes him mad, but then he is ok, people groping and fondling her. Not my cup of tea. But other than that it was a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Bared (Club Sin #2) by: Stacey Kennedy

Bared was one of those books that although it follows “Claimed” it stands on its own. Cora hides her feelings for Master Aidan in order to allow him to heal from the loss of his love Lily. When Aidan discovers that something isn’t right with Cora, he has no limits to what he will do to find out what is wrong with the person he cares most about; his submissive. In order to try and get closer to her, he goes to see her outside the dungeon and they spend an amazing day together. That is where it all changed. After that day Cora could no longer see Aidan as Master Aidan alone. She had had all of him and now she wanted him completely for her. The way the love story blossomed between them two was awesome. Here Aidan thought that he was helping Cora when she went to the dungeon when all along Cora was the helping him. Once he was able to fight his demons and realize what he felt for Cora, it was like he was unleashed. The story was just a little dragged out. I mean how much more could be talked about how Aidan wanted to know what was going on and how many times could she say “I. AM. FINE”. But overall I truly enjoyed the book. Once again, Stacey Kennedy you did it. Look forward to more of your work.

Hot Shots by: Anne Marsh, Lynn LaFleur & Stacey Kennedy

The first story in this book is about Hannah Green who is an aspiring vet and a fire watching person in 30ft tower over the summer and Cole Henry who is fire fighter for the Big Bear Rogues fire department. Their story commences with them having phone sex every day for the past two weeks. One night there is a storm and wipes the radio connection between Hannah and Cole. Determined to make sure she is ok, Cole gets everything together to take her a new radio and he begins his 50 mile hike to her. This is pretty much where the conflict begins and ends for this first story. Once he gets to where she is, he stays for 4 days, they have amazing sex for those days and that’s it, he has to go back to the fire department and they agree to continue seeing each other often. This wasn’t exactly what I was expecting after reading the beginning.

The second story in this book was really good. I truly enjoyed reading. I loved the way the story developed between Maysen and Clay and the fact that although there wasn’t a lot of drama or issues between them, there was a nice pace set to this story. It was romantic, funny and a little sad before it good happy again. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. LOL.. The way Clay tries to keep himself from falling for her or having anything to do with her at that. The way Maysen didn’t take no for an answer and fought for what she wanted was cool. Being that the personality given to Maysen was so resembling to something that I would do is more than likely why I liked the story that much more. Good job on this story.

The third story in this book is about Abby and Gavin. Abby’s house catches fire and Gavin is the firefighter to the rescue. Not only does he put out the fire in her house but he creates on in Abby, when he takes upon himself to console her as she remembers that she has lost everything that was a memory of her deceased family. Gavin takes upon himself to find Abby and invite her to a mascaraed ball (a sex ball). Once there he sees her turning guys left and right, he approaches her and with an ego to go along with his amazing body, he orders her to go with him. Once in the hotel room of the mascaraed its no holds bar. He gives her the pleasure she was only dreaming of. When she goes to reciprocate the favor, he can’t do it as strangers and chooses to unveil who he is. The ending to this story is farfetched but I loved it, because I never expected it to turn out the way it did. Truly enjoyed it.

Mad Love by: Colet Abedi

Wow!!! I honestly enjoyed this book to max..Sophie is a 23 year old girl who embarks on a dream journey along with her two gay best friends, (who were the funniest people on the planet. Orie and Erick really made this book special) with the sole intention of finding herself. Breaking up with her only boyfriend, still a virgin she sets off. Once in Male, she sees Clayton and he sees her. Its lust at first sight. Clayton is a dream. He is extremely rich, handsome to no description and possesive to just the right point. He is perfect. Once the romance begins Sophie finds out things about him that she doesn’t like but is willing to put up with. She tries to have a back bone, but that’s to no avail,,LOL.. This book made me want to take a vacation to Maldive Island, I just need my two gay best friends,,LOL..The only thing I didn’t like about this first book, was the ending. Even though there will be another book, the first book ends as if Clayton is not going to go after Sophie, after proclaiming how munch he needed her in his life. The fact that he didn’t clarify the magazine cover to Sohpie was horrible. So what if she didn’t want to pick up his phone calls, he could have texted her, sent her an email something, I mean I thought he didn’t take no for answer, but then at the end he does?! What was that about. I’m dying to know what will happen between them and I really hope they end up together and he goes after her. I truly enjoyed this love story and was somewhat sad to see it end the way it did. It is a total cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the next book.
